In continuation to this office letters dated 19/05/2012 and 15/06/2012, I am directed to inform you that the matter with regard to recognition/ approval of the college for the award of MBBS degree granted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab was again considered by the Board of Governors at their meeting held on 27/06/2012 and after consideration of the surprise assessment report (25th June, 2012), previous compliance verification assessment report(11th June, 2012) and assessment report(12th , 13th & 14th December, 2011), the Board of Governors decided to recommend that Gian Sagar Medical College & Hospital, Patiala, Punjab be recognised/ approved for the award of MBBS Degree granted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab with an annual intake of 100 (One Hundred) MBBS Seats per year.
In view of above decision of Board of Governors, you are therefore requested to issue necessary notification at the earliest recognizing Gian Sagar Medical College & Hospital, Patiala, Punjab for the award of MBBS Degree granted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab.
